Top Flight Exhibition and PR

As a public relations company specialising in B2B PR for companies in engineering, manufacturing, technology and construction, it is always interesting to have the chance to visit a client while they are at a major exhibition. We were lucky enough to be able to do this with our client the Wallwork Group who were at the Farnborough International Airshow.

Wallwork specialises in metal hardening of components by heat treatment and surface coatings. Much of their work is in demand in the aerospace industry, where their leading edge processes contribute directly to the bottom line of airlines. The increased strength and durability of hardened components can lead to weight saving, better resistance to friction and reduced maintenance. In turn this can save downtime and fuel costs for carriers – which ultimately means lower airfares for passengers.

Like many exhibitors at such exhibitions Wallwork Group are the unsung heroes of British Industry; constantly innovating and investing in UK jobs and skills. Our small part was to help them with publicity around the show, which this year included graphics for the stand and E-newsletters  via our partner RedChilli and video by Elite Film and Media.

Due to security, there are few places you can get up close to aircraft these days, so Farnborough provides a great opportunity to take pictures close-up. Even if you have no business reason to visit, I would recommend you do. The next show is in 2016.

If you need PR, stand graphics, video or other marketing support for exhibitions give us a call on 01706 221279 or visit us at www.ainsmag.co.uk.
